The title of this video is a bit unfair to Obama. He's trying to close the prison down and the vast majority of the abuses happened before his watch. I don't think a US President is supposed to directly involve himself in an ongoing trial.

Instead, I agree with Amnesty International: why is Prime Minister Stephen Harper refusing to repatriate our own citizen? As a Canadian citizen, I've followed Khadr's case quite closely, and my government's behaviour is utterly unacceptable. .

What do you expect to happen? There aren't many black people in high positions. So we blame America and white people for our problems. When will we stand up and use the freedoms we have been granted by the civil rights movement? We have more freedom and opportunity than any black generation before us and yet we are still complaining.

Just because inner city schools are less funded doesn't just stop people from learning. We still have public libraries and the Internet. Granted that the white people may be holding us back but just because they give us less funds then it is useless? So you think it is the funds that cause many black people to drop out of school?

Tyhe government has been keeping the black population under controll. Our schools are less funded, it is harder for us to get a job. Have you watched black in america 1&2. watch them and you will learn alot. Now America is trying to controll africa with Africom. They know who ever controlls africa will have unlimmited resourses and manpower.

If anything the black community is destroying itself. Most people who commit crimes are black. Most who drop out of school are black. Most fatherless homes are black. White people still have racist tendencies but for the most part, black people are holding themselves back.

Man, you should be lucky that guy is even on the news. A lot of black people today have pretty much given up hope and blaming things on white people. Yeah slavery and segregation happened but we as a people have to move past that. Black people who still talk in ebonics are ignorant. Public schools are there for a reason other than to not go or goof around. No wonder why black people are still messed up today. They wait for things to happen instead of making them happen.
