TV Land and Nick at Night both went to hell in a handbag. I bought most of the old TV Classics on DVD because they do not play them on the TV stations anymore...Blessings~~Cindy

How did we get the term Great Scott? What's great about Scott?

Most of the time Dennis wants a pony.

@MadelineHere Why don't you like Dennis the Menace? Why are you watching it if you don't?

If Dennis and Mr. Wilson were real life characters, Mr Wilson would wind up strangling that kid!

Excellent Show

Anyone who has ever wanted a horse, known a kid who wants a horse, likes horses or just wanted something very badly would love watching this. Truthfully I don't even like Dennis the Menace.
I did post this on my Horse N Pony Online facebook page - to share it with other fun videos and photos. Thanks so much for posting it.
(Oh and I watched all three myself on Christmas morning.) MadelineHere HorseNPonyOnline

@johnc385 The first season DVD is scheduled for release sometime in 2011.
Great Scott!.
Merry Christmas.
This is very interesting since this show was before my time and I don't have access to Nickelodeon. I like those notes at the bottom of the screen as well. That's interesting information.

I think I recorded this episode in the early nineties. Back then, Nick-at-Night would run a lot of shows such as this that were true classics-not the plethora of shows from the eighties and nineties and so on that they run now. This included shows such as this, Donna Reed Show, Father Knows Best etc.
Every year they would have a special where they would run all the Christmas episodes of these shows and that's when I taped this and Mr. Ed.

Fortunately, The Donna Reed Show has just released it's first season on DVD and is well worth the purchase price as is the two seasons of Father Knows Best. Dennis has yet to make it to the market, and the Mr. Ed sets are incomplete "best of" sets. I encourage anyone who truly enjoys these old shows to purchase the DVD's that are available so that they will know there is a market for them.
