The story is the Amadeus Syndicate has developed a powerful virus that threatens the Metal Slug files. Tarma and Eri were assigned to protect officials so they could rid the virus. So, in their place are Trevor Spacey and Nadia Cassel to aid Marco and Fio. They also saw through the monitors that Morden is still alive and may be behind the Amadeus.
Umm, yeah. Morden WAS framed by this scientist. But his army is still in the game as part of the Amadeus. It sucks, right?
So there you have it.

I wish they would work harder on this ending, as it seems to've been an awesome plot... but then again, it's an arcade game, lol. what am I expecting...
This is one of the better final stages in the series. I really love this one.

ahhhh, after 9 months, I'll take back my previous statement...
Call me dim, but its taken me this helluva long time to figure out that you fired at the ground and caused that spark yourself, which led me to think you were hit by the mech's machine gun bullets!
