@QUeensNYCUSA Shut up. Get your head out your ass.

Well I don't speak Spanish but if it is a job requirement then I would learn it.

@dalejrfan12 If someone come from US and want have a good job, OBVIOUSLY they must speak English... But it's wrong force people speak English in public areas. We have freedom speak any language in any public area.... There's something I'm worried.

@dalejrfan12 its true.. the people going to your country should speak english but im gonna take something as example most of europeans speak english, spanish, german french, its really an embarrasment that you, your country focus education on 1 language only, and one language you do not even speak properly.. by the way im from russia..

@rpm23 I see your point, however, "America" isn't a continent. North and South America are two separate continents. In North America, majority of people speak English. In South, it's mainly Spanish. So yeah, I agree the U.S. official language should be English considering it's used primarily in nearly everything we do up here. Government, Schools, Movies, Books, the People. It's really confusing and irritating when you have 100 people, 85 speak English 5 speak Spanish, and the rest speak another

It wasn't great that early colonizers forced their culture on others around the world. But look, we're in the future now. I immigrated to the U.S as an Asian Indian. My family and I didn't hesitate to become English speakers and we STILL speak our native language Hindi. Yes the U.S is one of the countries in the western hemisphere that embraces diversity. But don't you leftist retarded hippie punks realize that when you immigrate to other countries, you're expected to learn their languages!
-
um, most countries people know at least two languages, not here. We are too arrogant. Most hispanics do know our English language, the percentage is in the 90s and they are learning it much faster than most of our immigrant ancestors did. In Mexico, indeed there are many ethnic groups and therefore they know their native language and Spanish.

@dalejrfan12 Americans could learn this lesson. In my years in my Europe most American Business men had no inclination at all to learn the languages of the countries they were working in. Some had lived there for decades.
Most Americans can't even speak English properly.
