This is a picture tribute for Agnes Moorehead--my favorite of all--to mark her birthday, Dec. 6. I hope it's enjoyed.

I recently rediscovered this childhood tune here on YouTube from the animation "The Snowman". It gives me feelings of Christmas and winter and it has a haunting quality. I love it.
The original, containing the words, can be heard here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ubeVUnGQOIk

Many of the pictures I used come from www.agnesmoorehead.org . If anyone has even a small curiosity about Agnes Moorehead and her career, this is the most comprehensive site that can be found.

  • Fantastic images! Thanks so much...great job!

  • @OnCloudNine62 Thanks so much. :-))

  • The Snowman! Oh, the memories!

Beautiful tribute; made me feel like I miss a woman I never even knew. Not a single boring moment.

  • @AprilTheFool Thanks, April. Yes, the memories. To listen to this music is like a time machine for me. :-)

I miss her, too. I would give anything to have been able to see her perform live on-stage.

  • Very nice!

  • @arktrux Thanks! :-)

  • Was there part Agnes Robinson Moorehead couldn't play?

  • So striking.

  • great video and tribute.

  • She was very beautiful in her youth. It is so nice seeing this other side of her career. I only knew her as Endora....and she sure was entertaining! She had an unusually sharp comic timing. I really liked her!

  • @WMLandPassword Thanks, Karen. Agnes and Charles Boyer were in a production called "Don Juan in Hell". Charles Laughton and Sir Cedric Hardwicke were the other players. The more I listen to the recording, the more I enjoy it. It's a bit of a challenge to follow, but the voices are heaven.

  • @marienoreene Thanks Noreene. :-)
