I know how you feel. I have only been saved for seven months now and I'm 14 and a half and it is so difficult being the only christian in your family because you forget how blinded they are and think why don't they believe also because I still live with them (because I am 14) I have been drifting away a bit a times because I have been hanging around with them. Whenever I try to speak to my family about my beliefs they get mad and my dad almost made me walk home on the side of the highway today.

I feel sorry for this girl. She obviously has some issues. It would be good for her to seek professional help. People live with things that torment them, fear, despair, guilt,all sorts of anxieties. This girl has some deep rooted issues, and this is the only way she has to try and deal with it. I'm sure she doesn't even know why she is tormented. I hope she figures it out before she hurts herself.

What is sad is that this sick religion has convinced you that a horrible tyrant who will torture someone for ALL eternity for the "crime" of simply not being convinced of something is a loving, merciful father figure actually deserving of worship!!! Tragedies like deaths in the family do not need to be compounded with harmful mythological baggage like this.
