Police officer who rescued pit bull is honored

Baltimore Police officer Syreeta Teel is honored by Mayor Sheila Dixon and Commissioner Frederick H. Bealfeld III after she rescued a pit bull who was doused with gas and set on fire. The dog was euthanized on May 31 because of its severe injuries.

my neighbors dog got a bag tied around her head and strangled to death and the cops didnt even care! with we had more police officers like this young lady. :/

@IamKingsta ignorance, bigotry, and racism are signs of the weak. the dog died from severe burns cause it was doused in gasoline and then LIT ON FIRE. that probably had more of an impact on its health than someone jumping on it.

My pit is awesome and is a credit to the breed! Sometimes I think she is too patient with the kitties as the the poor girl has scratches on her tummy and has trouble with her nipples bleeding ( she had a litter before I adopted her). Sometimes I wish she would put her paw down with these kids! Thank you for your nice comment! Luv to you and yours
