Classic SCORE Race! One of the best Trophy Truck races ever!

Back in the day! The year was 1995. On Friday June 30 just outside Barstow California gathered the nations fastest Trophy Trucks and drivers all with one goal in mind, winning the SCORE Fireworks 250. The race consisted of 12 laps around the 21 mile course. This race had more Trophy Truck entries at that time than any other in the history of off road racing. That list included off road racing legends Ivan Stewart and Walker Evans. This race also included some off road racing all time greats, LeDuc, McCachren, Renezeder, Gordon, Baldwin they all went on to have historic racing careers and they are still winning races today. 3 time NASCAR Champion Jimmy Johnson also took the green flag at this race. This race had some of the fastest most competitive door to door racing in history. After a day of great racing and a very close finish Paul Simon of Simon & Simon Racing came away with the victory. Jason Baldwin, Ivan Stewart and Robbie Gordon came in 2,3,4. Many of the racers and spectators who were there regard this race as the greatest trophy truck race ever.
