Hello I Use Objective 40X, Eyepiece10X mas 2.5X amplification of the camera
The Objective 40X is a Plan Apo Nikon of very good resolution, but - lamentably - little contrast.
You forgive for my evil knowledge of the English language. (I use a translator in line), Regards Francisco

no problem, english is also not my first language. I should be able to speak spanish cause i learned it for 4 years in school but Maria garcia our teacher was too attractive, so i couldnt concentrate too much:-)
Francisco, how much money did u spend for your equipment? I would so much love to buy a own microscope instead to wait to use in the labaratory

The microscopìo is a Nikon Fluophot.
Me cost approximately 1000$ with Objective 10X, 20X Plan Apo, 40X Plan Apo, 40X.Phase Contrast. Phase Contrast Condenser.
Illuminating Fluorescence (it(he,she) is used very little).
In my opinion, a good microscope must have a base occurred, a few soft movements and - especially quite - a few objectives of quality In Ebay I have seen some microscopes of good quality (Zeiss, Leitz.. Nikon) and to "economic" prices.

Francisco
