This area has large foothills running through it
with a huge abundance of all kinds of trees. Most people think of Kansas as a flat, barren wilderness. This part of Kansas is quite pretty....Thanks!...Doc

All the Genesis P-42's that Amtrak uses for road locomotives have the same horn. Nathan Airchime K5LA. Since all 5 horn bells face forward; these horns get a lot of damage in the way of weather, bird strikes, and debris. This naturally alters the pitch. Some, like #61, sound like a dying ostrich. But, they all start out sounding nice like this.
