Terminal G and A are the international terminals at SFO. I flew to Germany with United last year and we checked in Terminal G and also departed from "G". I also think that terminal G is your terminal. It doesn't matter if you exit the train on "A", A and G are in the same hall. I hope I could help you. I rode something like that at Tampa International Airport years ago. They sound like the1980's-vintage Flyer Trackless Trolleys.
