Today, 1/26/11. No snow prep was done. Westbound Route from Flushing, Queens (Northern Blvd, 21st St., 59th St. Bridge, 2nd Ave Manhattan) Roads were already snow covered (4 inches) and very slippery by 9 AM. Cars were spinning out all along the way and could not make it up the hill at 45th St & 2nd Ave in Manhattan). NYC streets should have been salted early this morning and were not. Once again Mayor Bloomberg scores an "F" for failure.

Now I understand why it was so g-d damn important to spend millions of tax payers dollars on constructing bike lanes.
