@lalautranziciji did you use this to practice? Once you get better at this basic judo technique and your tai sabaki, you should be doing this throw off of a left sleeve/lapel circle pull. Just step up and block the foot and spike your hips in for more power. Search "Muneta Sasae" and watch the first video to see how powerful this method can be, . Notice he is pushing into, then pulling back taking ukes momentum over his straight leg. Also notice the hip placement.

Thank you. We feel that this way, through input from martial arts practitioners, we can make our wiki more accurate!

My suggestion is to move either backwards or sideways, or direct uke around you
That way you can block the leg and use your entire upper body for extra control

I think you are right, we need to retake this one for our encyclopedia, the Akban-wiki.

First let me say I love your videos. But, a suggestion for Hiza/Sasae Tsukuriomi
They are one in the same, and are more of a "block" then a sweep, I don't think Hiza or Sasae are being used to thier full potential if Uke is moving backwards. Try stepping in, having Uke step back, draw him forward so that his weight will not be on his foot, just block the Knee and kuzushi, he will go right over every time, but you need to be moving backwards, not forwards....
