These are my baby clown loaches in a 10g tank. They are getting larger and putting on weight well. They'll be moved to a 125g pretty soon! Here they are eating.

  • lol you got a snake house in your tank. (the big black thing)

  • @robom1337 New and scared clown loaches love this hide! :)

  • What is the size of your aquarium?

  • This video was taken of the fish in their 10 gallon quarantine tank before they were moved to larger waters. I quarantine my new fish in a cycled tank for two weeks to one month before adding them in with older fish in established tanks.

  • @limecokebrian1 Well if you consider the fact that they can live to be 50+ years old, they could be considered babies.

  • you feed them

  • My dad wanted to get ONE for his 13gal tank but i warned him he will have to get over 5 and they get a foot long each my dad only has a little experience with goldfish the one they he found lived the longest was 9months my grannies ones are over 5 and still going strong then I have some new angel fish

  • @BoeingNerd Tbh they should never be bought individually, they need to be kept in groups of at least 3+ due to their nature and will often be very timid alone, if you have a suitable tank to grow the little fella I would advise you to buy some more clown companions for him, you should see a remarkable change in his personality.

  • i just got a clown loach and put him in a tank 5 gal until he gets bigger but i cant seem to find him... theres shade a fake plant and a live plant and a shell any ideas of how to find him and get him out oh and what to feed him

  • They're so cute!

  • Hey these fish are awesome. Just asking I have a 55 gallon (4ft) fish tank and the dude selling fish told me that two of these clown loaches will happily fit in the 55 gallon tank. What do you think? He also told me they would take 10-15 years to grow to maximum size is this true?

    Thanks

    Josh

  • mine are this size at the moment, just saw them devour some baby snails, amazing creatures!
