I read watchmen for the first time when i was fourteen. It was slow but by the time i got to the end my mind was fucking blown. I went to see the movie and i loved it. I thought it was great. Alot of people didn't, but i think they hadn't read it and were expecting standard superheroes. To me it was fantastic to see the images in motion.

I'd heard of Watchmen early into when I started reading comics, but I never got round to reading it. When the movie came out I figured, "I never go to the cinema, so I should probably read the comic." It was win.

I read that same issue of Wizard that he mentions when i was twelve having no idea what Whatchmen even was. I finally read it at fifteen and it still blew my mind. it's like i saw it coming but it pulled me in so much reading it that when it happens it's still shocking.

@B0thergirl You should read the comic book. It is less cheesy and more deep than the movie.

I never heard of Watchmen. I went to the first showing at the theater. Although I wanted to hate it I couldn't. It was fantastic. I am thinking of going to see it again with my hubby tomorrow.
Warning: It is 3 hours long
