Rick Roderick. I believe this series of lectures was recorded at Duke University. He is renowned for his ability to make obscure philosophy readily accessible.

Yes not sure who this man is but he's very lucid and helps to communicate complex ideas. I think Baudrillard is very profound but there's humor. I've been trying to listen to Zizek. He seems intense but is he a simulation of the radical intellectual? The gestures the idea that the simulation can be broken through reason, humanity and a developed form of communism. Who would be the agent of this revolution or change.

Hyperreality is just Platonic Realism becoming more common in prosperous societies. Prosperity has enabled people to confuse the map with the territory and get away with it more, because intellectual goals are more common that never have to touch down.
The paradox of Roderick is that his sarcasm about hyperreality should be applied to the socialist's Platonic complex. The collective is seen as more real than the individual. Generally, universals are seen to trump context. This is foolish!
