Here's my alternative to "I Grieve" by Peter Gabriel, used in the 100th episode of Smallville titled "Reckoning".

The song was originally written and sung by Leonard Cohen, in the lyrics it's the holy dark, not the holy dove, but yeah, it's about making love.

@fidgetjnr wrong funeral. Time after time played at whitney's father's funeral back in the second season i believe. I grieve by peter gabriel was this funeral.

And you have a funeral scene with a REALLY bad soundtrack preaching how love is a though bastard.
I especially like that they included the "I moved in you and the holy dove was moving too" part, which is an synonym for making love - nice thing between Superman and his "father" at his funeral! Nice going!

This isn't a direct extract from the series...the user who submitted this video has dubbed his own song in place of the original music, which I believe was "Time After Time" by Eva Cassidy.
