Idiocracy by Mike Judge comes to mind first. Another movie I just became aware of, Out Cold, starring John Lithgow, Teri Garr, and Randy Quaid as a somewhat idiotic PI. I think it's pretty good, but unfortunately there only seems to be a Full Screen release.

Damn, I love Harry Crumb. I was just discussing this film the other day. (Was lauding the works of TIm Thomerson who appears in this film and adds his own take he "idiocy" with his character.) I love all of Candy's flicks and this one is sorely under appreciated. I have not seen Disorderlies in decades. It would make a great double feature with B.A.P.S. Nice job Nik, I don't think you can go wrong with this topic.
