@ko31en Just to be clear, the people who are shooting other people are all violent criminals. The law abiding people who aren't allowed to have guns in many cases are not shooting anybody. Buy there are more people who don't have guns shot than people who have guns and there is evidence that, as long as criminals have guns, you are safer to own a gun than to not.
We don't need guns to kill in the US, a knife or a pipe work. But having a gun often keeps the criminals from trying to hurt us.
