I've always maintained that the backing to this track was used by the England supporters at Wembley, during the 1966 world cup. Bomp, Bomp, Bomp Bomp Bomp, Bomp Bomp Bomp Bomp, ENGLAND !!

spaceman: I grew up in Boston MA and "Bend It" was a huge hit back there. The only reason I knew about this group. Lot of airtime, but only for that song. I guess the song did not do too well in the rest of the country. How unfortunate. I love watching these youtube videos of Dave Dee. They were such a dynamic group.
