Josie was really smokin' on course this weekend! She jumped 26" all weekend and still managed to have the fastest time *of all dogs* in Standard on Sunday! GO Baby-Dog, GO!! She had a most ridiculous one-strider AFrame in Standard as well. It was a sight to behold, for sure! (not her only one-hit-wonder, but definitely the most impressive!)

I'm super pleased with what a hero she was over a lot of the jumps this weekend. Adjusting to 26" on wet grass and jumps/courses where bars were coming down for a LOT of dogs, I think she did very well for herself! She started off taking a number of bars but her last few runs of the weekend were bar-free and that made me very happy to see!!

YAY for my girlie for winning Masters Snooker on a course that ate a lot of dogs for breakfast -- including her Snooker Queeen sister!!

Poor girlie fell victim to the dew & mud-covered teeter on Sunday morning in Gamblers, first class of hte day. So sad! She had a raspberried belly and a scrape on the inside of one of her rear legs but is otherwise no worse for the wear. Notice how I also negate my gamble in my desire to study her gate to make sure she's fine -- which it was easy to tell that she was as she was like "let's go!!" and never made an "ouch, that hurt!" sound or anything. She's a trooper! & of course there are no lingering "oh no, scary teeter!" issues or anything -- she's definitely a resilient little thing!!

I always have the most fun with my little red munchkin -- we both enter and exit the ring with big goofy smiles on our faces!!

  • Congrats on great runs for both Josie and Ivie! How come she was jumping 26"? Are you going to the USDAA championships in november (I think!)?

  • She has to jump 26" for IFCS World Team purposes next year. The "year" for USDAA started this past weekend. I am putting her back to 22" for this year's Nationals, since I qualified for them at 22".

After Cynosports in Oct/Nov, though, she'll be at 26" semi-permanently. & she's been at 24" in AKC anyway.

  • So does this mean we will see you at out NW regional in 2009;)

  • Quite possibly!! :)

  • Nice runs!

What video editing program do you use? You edit them very well :)

  • Thanks very much!

    I use Cyberlink PowerDirector.
