Even if they are succsesful in their plan to get the world population to 500 million, the elites are so psycologicly twisted, and greedy, that they will destroy themselfs from the inside out. Take for instace the city of Florance under the guise of a republic a few powerful families controled, every aspect within the city. Even with the majority of power and wealth in elites hands, they constanly fought each other for more power and wealth. Their own greed and selfishness will be their downfall.

I think that the Elites overestimate the effectiveness in culling world population. World population has continued to grow despite,ice ages, famine, drought, black death, world wars, and even well organized extermination camps and eugenics projects specifically designed to eliminate as many "undesirables"as possible.All of these have failed miserably in long term population control.
