  • @RAGSANDBONES1 ..hell, if this music was played in elevators i would always go to the top floor. and when my plane had landed i would always stay seated until the music ends. this tune is a timeless classic and it's great fun watching him enjoying so much what he's doing..

  • Should this be called: Room Strat?

  • @xTommyxGuitar - there is no invisible suit. The Emperor is butt naked! Do not ask me to consider stealing other people's sampled sounds and blathering on top of them an art form. It is not, no matter how much money it generates. It is still garbage now run along.

  • @jessthehorse You do realise that you're just as bad? You're a closed-minded idiot. Because you listen to "jazz" hip hop holds no talent?

I listen to jazz, and play jazz, but I also like hip hop. Jay-z is on top of his game and really good at what he does.

Please, speak highly of Larry Carlton,a s he deserves, but there's no need to comment negatively on things you clearly have no idea about. There are other types of music out there, you not liking it does no decimate it's appeal to others.

  • @ 3:26 the bass player is right there with him! Larry is truely INCREDIBLE!!!

  • I bet whoever called this elevator music would give anything to have their music played on an elevator or anywhere else for that matter! Anytime you post a derogatory remark about some music please post up an example of your music accomplishments as well so that they may be judged in accordance. It's simply the professional thing to do, don't you think?

  • Is that Dave Carpenter on bass? Elevetor or not - i don't care - it's a hell of a catchy tune!

  • @jamminjeff8566 I agree, he's my favorite. So versatile and like Robben Ford, knows exactly the right note to play at any given time.

  • @TheFudd57 Are you sure it's a Sadowsky and not a Valley Arts ? They custom made guitars for him in the 80's.

  • @jamminjeff8566 Indeed! Well whichever guitar he's using, I can't seem to find a fault in his playing. He's a true master!

  • @g1asseye Room 335 was his Studio, ironic that it's also the guitar he's famous for using...

  • Today's youth seem to think that anything that sounds like it might spring from a tiny bit of education is "elevator music" and thus they call Kanye West "a musician", say "Jay Z wrote a song for his daughter" when he is merely "talking" and say you are "jamming" when you play a record player. Sorry, this is NOT "elevator music" and the sensibility of today's youth is something more than "dumbed down".
