This is the official teaser trailer for 'Thoroughly Modern Willie', the latest show from Far From Kansas.
Recorded at a sell out performance at the 2010 Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Thoroughly Modern Willie tells the story of a group of gay school boys boarding at St Sebastian's International Finishing School for Young Debutantes. When a new, thoroughly modern teacher arrives, the boys prove tough nuts to crack as they learn that the 'ideal gay man' might not be what they thought!
Thoroughly Modern Willie features classic songs including 'The Boyfriend', 'What I Did for Love', 'Je Ne Regrette Rien' and 'I Am What I Am', delivered in a unique style that has made the London Gay Men's Chorus popular with audiences young and old, gay and straight. Enjoy this unique brand of musical madness - camp comedy, homo harmonies and a riot of frivolous fantasy!
"These boys really know how to lick a four-part harmony, exquisitely harmonised, sung with great heart and tenderness" The Scotsman.
Far From Kansas will be performing 'Thoroughly Modern Willie' at the Shaw Theatre, London on Sunday 10th and 17th October. To book tickets go to www.farfromkansas.co.uk
Far From Kansas recently won this year's 'People's Choice Award' at the Absolut Gay Theatre Festival in Dublin performing their last sell-out show 'Oklahomo!'
