I think I prefer the superb 1980 version by Al Johnson/Jean Carn (I mean, what a combination!), but it's a close-run thing - both have their merits, and this original fits the general style of the album, which also has the superb "Gimme The Sunshine" track to commend it.
(Let's quietly draw a veil over Bobby Womack's ill-judged duet with that annoying little Scottish woman, Loo-Roll or whatever her name is...)
