There are two take-home messages here: 1) The further away we become from the water-cycle and its abstraction, processing, storage and after use final discharge (effluent), the less we respect water. Kali Bein is a micro-problem that can be linked directly with a macro-problem of Ganga and other riivers of India. The route from Haridwar to gangothrir to Gaumukh is litterd with human waste and toxic pollutants. Tehri dam is no accumilating these toxic compounds.
