How to make animation in PhotoShop CS4/ CS4 Extended.

This is how to make animations in PS CS4/CS4 Extended.

ADDED:

When you save it go to:

1."File" then choose "Save For Web & Devices".

2. A window will open up for you, look on the top right where it says JPEG and change it to GIF otherwise it wont work.

3. Click save, name it and your done. [File will open through your main web-browser but you can still upload it to websites, you can also use http://imageshack.us/ to upload it then use it on forums/websites].

My animation window doesnt look like that. It doesnt say Animation (FRAMES) it says

Animation(TIMELINE)

How do i get it to show frames?

@xXMetalxFreakXx Umm, I don't really know I have never seen that before. But you can try going to Window>Workspace>Essentials (Default)

i spent 4 f**King hours making one and when i went to save as gif my photoshop froze and shut down with no save.i think im going to slit my wrists ...

@xXMetalxFreakXx u have extended, try finding this little tab on the animation window that will allow u to change between timeline and frames.

My only problem,is that when I try to save my gif,I make sure it says "Compu Serve". But when I go to the folder it's saved in to see it,the gif doesn't work,as in. It won't move. I hope I didn't confuse you,but can you tell me what I'm doing wrong?

@xXMetalxFreakXx There should be a button in the bottom right hand corner of the of the Animation window at the bottom, if you're in "timeline" mode then the button will look like 3 squares side by side, but if you're already in "frame" mode then it will look like 2 lines with 2 diamonds at different points on those lines. Click this button to switch between the 2 modes.
