I performed PP&M version of 'When the Ship Comes In' for our Senior Show in 1966. Had a new Martin D-18 - but the strap broke right at the start of the song - finished the song by clamping the guitar under my arm - got a standing ovation - one of best moments of my life - saw them live once at UC Berkeley. LOVED PP&M then, still do. Thank you Paul, thank you Peter and thank you Mary for so much musical happiness you've given the world.

Not quite sure what it means, but a great song nonetheless

Yeah, this and "Wasn't That A Time?" are my two favorite PP&M efforts...I had most of their albums in the '60s.
