840,000 Saved Through Night & Day Prayer

Last week Ian Nicholson and I joined about a thousand others in Cape Town, South Africa to celebrate ten years of the Global Day of Prayer and to hear how God is moving around the globe. We were incredibly encouraged by story after story of generations and nations impacting the world through prayer. I was particularly excited to meet Peter Sekhonyane, a South African Church leader. God has moved so powerfully with His communities I had to draw him aside get him to tells us what's happened in his own words.

He said July of 2004? That's when I started praying every day, every morning for over an hour first thing out of the sack which led to being blown away with the impetus of my novel about the fall of creation in July of 2007--The Rapha Chronicles, Book 1: The Fall--and here I thought it was due to MY prayer. Ha! Probably all those praying, powerful children of South Africa! God is huge--prayer is everything--time with HIM will bring worldwide revival--even here in hard-hearted America! Pray!

Incredibly exciting and so encouraging. More prayer! More linking arms with God and stating what He states, longing for what He longs for, becoming more like Him! Praise God for what is going on in South Africa--for what we long to see all over the world! Prayer is powerful!
