I started listening to Johnny Cash in 1955 and loved his music from the beginning. I always wanted to meet him, but he was out of town when my wife, daughter and I visited the House of Cash in the early 70's. Great man and great music. I know you will always treasure your memories of Johnny and June. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you Henry, I am very moved. Thanks to my parents, I grew up with Johnny and June's music in my house, and have been a fan since I was 6 years old. I am now 48. You have made a beautiful tribute with this post. Thank you.

What an exciting privilege to know Johnny Cash & his wife, June Carter Cash. However that first song in the set did not sound like June, It sounded like Allison Krause. Am I correct?

I really hate you.
No, seriously, thanks for showing and sharing your photo collection. It is nice to see the Cash clan in their candid moments.

Your one of the luckiest guys in the world to have a by the looks of it a genuine friend like Johnny Cash. That is absolutely amazing.

This is a lovely video. Thank you for sharing these photos. It is very fitting that you chose to use "Far side banks of Jordan" in your tribute. That is the song I always think about when I pause to reflect on what a wonderful marriage they had.
