I went to hear Steve Lonegan speak in Freehold where he gave straight and direct answers. Now I'm campaigning for him!

It wasn't a simple yes or no answer. He was being cornered and wasn't prepared to play his cards yet. You should've been telling the questioners to cool it.

Chris Christie is honest...he didn't beat around the bush after being elected. He simply wanted people not to know until later...and now he's telling everyone exactly how he feels. If anything, he's ten times less of a "bushbeater" than Jon Corzine was.

@NOMADdaf I apologize for that comment, Nomad. I felt Lonegan got sand-blasted by the Republicans that night and by all of the negative ads I not only watched but received in the mail. Contrary to your own name calling though, I am neither a lib or a socialist, but that doesn't really matter, I guess....I was wrong in making fun of Christie's weight and have been VERY pleasantly surprised by his actions and words since he's been my Governor.

He wasn't the best choice for governor, however, I'm glad Corzine's gone and he's doing a MUCH BETTER job and is the best we've had since Kean.

There's a big difference between not giving a straight answer or "beating around the bush" and simply not answering, which is exactly what he says he is doing. You want a lesson on beating around the bush, watch an interview with our president.
