Solar Powered Automated Drip Line Irrigation Controller

Current irrigation systems use a municipal water supply that is inefficient and expensive. Collected rainwater can provide a water source for keeping the yard well-watered during dry spells. An intelligent drip line irrigation regular powered by the sun will efficiently use collected rainwater to keep a garden or lawn lush all summer.

Our product is a solar-powered automated drip line irrigation controller. Connecting between a 50-gallon rain barrel and drip line hose, our controller intelligently senses soil moisture to judiciously use its limited water supply. The unit will have a rechargeable battery that requires replacement only once a year and three user-controlled watering times. The operating temperature range is from 0º-40º C, but will survive 15º-55º C including regular outdoor use and water immersion.
