Sunset High School point guard Garrett Sim scored a season-high 37 points against Battle Ground (Wash.) on Jan. 4. The senior is averaging 24.5 points in 13 games and is The Oregonian's athlete of the week for Dec. 30, 2007-Jan. 5, 2008.

I do realize he is in college and palying 4 oregon i did not mean to comment on your not knowing, mostly saying how your comment was uneeded.

  • I love Garrett Sim he went to my middle school (Stoller Middle School) he went to the high school i'm going to (Sunset High School) and now he goes to the college I want to go to (University of Oregon) I hope he goes to the NBA Garrett Sim is living my dream i want to play basketball for all the same teams he did

  • He's playing so well right now for the University of Oregon -- and he pretty nice to look at as well...

  • he didn't want his talent to rot on a win less Pac-10 team.

    it was close game, until everyone started foulin him for the whole 4th quarter... thats where all his points came from...

    but dont get me wrong.. tha kid is good...

  • i was surprised that he chose oregon over os because his dad went to oregon state, and his brother is the 3rd string qb for oregon state. i'm excited to see g. sims in a oregon uni!!!
