It's been a while since I've heard anything. Does anyone know if they are still writing music. I thought that Corey Taylor was going to focus on stone sour. I saw a comment about all of them playing bass on new album.

ive never been a HUGE fan of slipknot
but i wont deny their success and i wont deny Pauls skills
he was a good asset to music and will be missed and respected
by fans and enemies alike if you even truly believe in music

dude the whole thing just sent all the maggots in a tale-spin....myself included, im not gonna lie, i cried about it, i decided to listen to snuff the afternoon of the day he died and just fuckin cried for like a half hour over it... these guys have been my favorite band since '02 and now paul's gone... the good news is that slipknot have already announced that they WILL continue w/o paul and each of them are gonna play bass for the new record, but joey says they dont know about live yet....

knowing we lost a part of that 9 man wrecking crew tears my heart to pieces. Paul may have just been a bassist for a metal band to some, but for us maggots, he was a part of our family, but, like all lost members of a family, Paul would want us to continue our lives and not give up faith in the band. My heart goes out to Paul's wife, his expected son, his family, and most importantly, Corey, Joey, Shawn, James, Mick, Sid, Craig, and Chris. May his soul rock in heaven. R.I.P Paul "The Pig" Ray
