Van Exel didnt quit against the Jazz he was the only player even remotely effective but he knew they couldnt beat the Jazz. Shaq was too much of a bitch to take the brunt of blame for getting swept. He made Nick, Eddie, Ceballos all scapegoats. If ur the franchise player u can get most of the praise but be ready to take most of the blame also.
