Well, as I was zipping down this hwy... the first Arizona sign I saw was as I emerged from the gorge and cruised on into the desert at the bottom end... and I started at Salt Lake City and ended up in Vegas. The start of this gorge appeared to be in Utah... and ended before I entered AZ... at least that's how I remember it.
