Jo Ann Campbell - Let Me Do My Twist

The curvaceous Jo Ann Campbell in the role of "Piper" in the 1961 film "Hey, Let's Twist". The movie takes place in NYC's "Peppermint Lounge" and features 'Joey Dee and the Starliters'. Also appearing as a dancer in the joint is Goodfella Joe Pesci. Jo Ann went on to moderate success recording several Rock 'n' Roll albums with hits like "Beachcomber" and answer song "Girl from Wolverton Mountain"

@macvatu JoAnn Campbell was dubbed "The Blonde Bombshell". I saw her at the Appolo Theater with The Everly Brothers in the 50s...The theater was in Harlem...I have no idea how we got there it was pretty far away from Astoria...
