An eastbound passes the detector at 941.4 between Picacho and Wymola. You can hear the dispatcher talking to a train that has just gone into emergency at MP 1011 (on the Lordsburg Sub).

  • Sweet. I like the audio and the horn show. Only if I had a portible scanner to be able to capture the radio traffic while I was filming. Nice job, dude!

  • Thanks man, I had the scanner (which has since decided to light itself on fire) plugged into my laptop recording the raw audio. It works great, just a lot of gear to haul around...

  • wow! that was awesome!

  • Thanks! I think it was a broken air hose on that other train.

  • Interesting... same girl that did the detectors for the B&LE before CN went and redid them all. Probably worked for the phone company... "The number you have dialed has been disconnected... 724 353 2468... please make a note of it"... lol.

  • Great video. Do you watch and video trains often in this area?
