CN train M343 trips the hot wheel detector at MP 169.1 on the Neenah Sub, which is just south of Oshkosh, WI. The defect was 572 axles back, on the left side, out of 688 axles on the train.
@amtrak3501 688 on the Neenah Sub actually isn't that huge. I've heard over 800 and near 1000 several times. During winter we get the U780/U790 loaded ore trains that usually have 4 motors and 200 cars. That's 832 axles right there.
688 on the axle count?! hes askin to pull a drawbar, lol. highest i ever heard was on the South Bend sub. train was 394, 2 CN SD75I's and an IC SD70 axle count 734 over the 93.3. nice video
