@OCcrazy1 read below first. there is some believability however its spelled to that bruno says rogers was never hurt and just didnt wanna drop the strap because when rogers wrestled lou thesz right before this he didnt wanna drop the belt so they told rogers that if he didnt he wouldnt get back his 25,00 dollars for the belt and the other was if he didnt wanna lose that thesz would just have to beat his ass for real and take it

@OCcrazy1 I also heard the same thing but either or he drops the strap to bruno. Buddy Rogers I hear had a bad rep with the other Wrestlers then and wasnt very well liked. I think alot of it is confused up cause bruno stays in character pretty much anytime he talks about it saying he told rogers I win one way or another. I do think He did have a heart attack say a a few months before the match and it is why this match and all his matches afterwards were very short or tag team matches
