@BNSF5608 Wow, if that's not the finest customer support I've ever seen, I don't know what is. When I start to purchase my lot of stuff, I'll remember to stay clear of "YOUR" company.....

i don't think it would matter

looks like your layout is in a garage.mine too!!

seems to run and sound just fine, keep the back weight in there. a lot of time the more weight the locomotive has the better it runs.

Hi Yanks,
I think you're all missing the point of the original TITLE, but it is a great power to weight ratio.
cheers, Howard in the poor UK

Well which one did you buy, you know they have specific ones for certain engines. You need to pay attention to what you're buying from us. I record for ESU who makes Loksound/ Lokpilot

Take a look under My Videos for the video of the sounds.
I believe I got the 72421 model - it's description at Tony's matches what I would have been looking for. There appear to be several more Alco's available then when I originally ordered this thing last spring. All my documentation is in hiding, unfortunately.

I want to hear the horn on your C424.

Yeah, I need to remember to sound it during one of these... it's pretty much a "blat" which makes me think the sound chip (Loksound) came from a switch engine.

Speaker "in the back"?? I don`t understand :) Are`nt these already equiped with sound? (engines)

No, Atlas doesn't have a sound equipped C425 yet. I had to add a Loksound decoder with a pair (they come that way) of 16mm mini-speakers. Fortunately it is 8-ping NMRA plug equipped.
