From episode 13 of "The Letter People" - Meet Mr. S: Super Socks

For an unknown reason, the person singing Mr. S's song is different from the person who sang it in the audio recording which accompanied the classroom program. (With all other Letter People, besides Mr. D who also has a different singer, the song from the classroom program was simply inserted into each episode). For that reason, the original classroom song is presented after the TV show clip

  • OMG, for the longest time I used to think I was crazy, cause I've never met a single person that knew of the Letter People. This song used to be in my head all the time throughout my life, out of nowhere. Especially the chorus, ha!

  • i remember after we watch the show we had to color that letter for the day

  • "1982" 5yrs old, MAN!!, I miss those days!!! I'm a EMCEE and Writer now and I have to say that the letter people had three songs that really drew me to music and words MR.S, MS. A & MR. M

  • This is cool. I forgot this show was actually made in my home town. I wonder if he is still around. I would love to hire him to perform this song at my birthday bash or something. I bet people would really love it.

  • @kcsledge95 The same thing happened to me when I was in kindergarten!

  • I was MRS.S in the letterpeople play in kindergarten...good time (:

  • mr s is the greatest letter person ever the sons track is super oh did i mention my name is sam

  • He was one of my favorites. Man this brings back memories.

  • Prefer the record version waaaaaay more.

  • Mr. S was voiced by a well known St. Louis actor who worked extensively in musical theatre and was a fabulous singer. That is most likely why he sang his songs. Perhaps the other voice artists were not singers

  • I remember My Kindergarten days when we only got the vinyl accompanied by a inflated version of the character. Never a video. But this is AWESOMe!

  • @joyjoy70301 That's such a good idea. :)
