This is my Texas State Junior Classical League Campaign speech for 2nd Vice President

Sophie Guo - Camera Girl
Cody Gunter - Best Introducer Ever
Jimmy Bui (me) - The Guy with the Flute

Since most people can't hear it I'm gonna type the speech, I can't remember Cody's intro though so maybe when Allee gets her copy up.

Hello, I'm Jimmy Bui and I am running for 2nd Vice President for TSJCL.
I understand that the duties of the 2nd Vice President include Art and Spirit.

I myself entered a sculpture into the contest, and while there I happened to look at some of the pieces, and they are really great. Show of hands, how many people actually see the art. *There was a few hands* Okay not so many. (This is the part that I forgot to say: That's because they were usually in a cramped library, haha....) If I become second vice president I'll try to make the artwork more accessible to the public.

I'm spirited and creative and souly believe that the Great Spirit of Texas should be at the top at NJCL Spirit Competition... (I think I said something after that)

A natural part of spirit is music. I really enjoyed the Choir that was here at the opening ceremony and hope to bring it back again, with maybe some instrumental ensembles. In fact, I even have my flute here. I'd like to play a short piece that will bring back memories of your first Squirtle, Bulbasaur, or Charmander. *Played Pallet Town*
