@themrmustazz Change of Seasons is not an album, it's EP

@FollowTheReaper93 sorry didn't finish my thought...i meant that their songs are just speedy solos and riffs, with no real musical interest behind them...songs like constant motion and A rite of passage...each song follows a formula: riff, into heavy guitar part with singing over it, back to riffing, then guitar playing the same notes while keyboard solos, then keyboard plays guitar part while guitar solos...they just dont write songs like trial of tears or 6:00 anymore

@soocool78 they became speed? what does that even mean. and how could you figure that Dream theater could become a speed metal group, thats just stupid

cool :P

I was talking about good albums.
I think FII is the worst of DT.
Once in a LIVEtime is a live album, and so? What does this mean?
-
In fact he made also Falling into Infinity and Once in a LIVEtime livealbum.

go jordannnnnnnnnnnn fuck yeahhhhhhh

I totally agree, scenes as well as Six degree were their last albums before they became speed
i just hope they dont become speed metal...then i could never forgive myself.
But yea i totally agree

Jordan is my favorite keyboardist, after Wakeman whom I've idolized for about 35 years! But I have to agree. The older albums were tastier, more melodic solos. Seems like speed has taken over lately. Scenes from a Memory is DT's golden moment in my opinion.
Listen the Metropolis Pt. 2 suite of the "Falling into Infinity Demos". ;)
