No not the creators but I've read articles about the companies who publish or buy comic for their stores and how they say that non white male won't sell so they don't buy them or publish them. That's so stupid because a lot of people who aren't white love comic books and grew up watching the. They act as if their no audience for non white supero hereos. It's ridiculous. It's not the creators fault because their pressured into not promoting non-white leading males. Female comic fans are ignored.

It would make sense that Apocalypse is black, seeing as how his origin begins thousands of years ago in Egypt. The Egyptians were black that long ago.

to me it seems like every black superhero is exploited in comics. even the ones made by black creators focus on stereotypes to the point it becomes exploitative. The only character I see as bad ass with out exploit is Blade and that's not counting the third film where they make Blade the guess star in his own film.

black superheroes suck

@videogamester07 He was really popular for awhile. Todd is one of my favorite artist and he wrote some really cool Spiderman comics too. Spawn was an anti hero like hulk or venom. The coolest thing spawn accomplished was being an exclusive character in Soul Caliber. He was a cool character but I didn't dig his story at all.

These Dark Skinned Superheroes never do anything significant. You never hear about Black Panther or Bishop taking down Magneto or the Hob Goblin. All these Dark skinned Super heroes are just glorified sidekicks to their Blue eyed pale skinned counter parts with Black Panther and maybe Static Shock being the exception. Static Shock is a younger better Magneto yet he's not doing anything as significant as him. I think he took down the Joker once in his cartoon. Something Batman does all the time

Marvel has made so many Black superheroes but they don't get any attention. Outside of Blade,Storm and the Black Panther you won't hear many other names mentioned. Like Bishop, Falcon, WarMachine, Spike, Josiah X, and The Patriot. It was also said in 2008 a Black Panther and a Static Shock live action movie would come out but we know how that turned out.

i read the post on the forum. that is.....mindblowing. i didn't know that was what happened. I was under the impression that dwayne mcduffie was a competent comic book writer due to his tenure on "justice league unlimited". It appears i was wrong. I am currently reading "vampire huntress legends" series, hopefully if it is made into a film, it will be well written and directed.
