What yall young bucks really don't know is that 415 Was a Oakland group!! When these songs where made, it was out of Oakland, Not San Francisco!! The reason was because Oakland Area code was "415" at the time, before it was 510. Peep the back ground/backdrop of these "415" video's it's Oakland Ca. The people and the City!!

I remember seeing this video on the Jukebox 20 years ago. I'm from stl. When I saw they had their records distributed on Priority Records I knew the 415 was the shit. Classic! I'm still trying to find D-Loc solo album Split Personality. I had the cassette and played the hell out of this. 415 fan for life!

@Arctichayze18 Because it's not true, perhaps?

415 was naming turfs and streets. Richie actually shouts out individual hoods and ballers. NWA has, to my recollection NEVER shouted out a Hood or gang. Just the ambiguous City of Compton...

@marfin805 and @backatchalol. I never liked the comparisons between NWA and 415 because NWA always seemed a little cartoon-like to me. 415 was a little more reality rap.
