Just google double drop d tuning. DADGBD is DD tuning to reiterate! There's so many little variations on this song that you can use to make it sound anyway you want. A little more country/rock or balls to wall rock n' roll! Depending too on your amp settings! It sounds great on my Marshall clean channel but of course cranked right up, bass, treble, middle and gain!

@wannabemybest Drop D is DADGBE. DADGAD is D modal tuning. Open D is DADF#AD. This guy is tuned to double dropped D, DADGBD, for this lesson, which is correct.

Great explanation of 'Cinnamon Girl'. The fingerpicking in 'Ohio' is a tad off (I don't know how to play it well, but I can defiantly hear a difference in the pattern when watching the video of him playing at farmaid 2010). It's still better than I can do though :p

thank you sir, very helpful, although on ohio, for the hammer ons i just hammer up an F and C chord for a fuller more continuos sound, thanks a bunch
