Having served 2 years as Grand Knight, I know EXACTLY how our Tootsie Roll program works, and where every cent goes. We buy Tootsie Rolls from the manufacturer at a good price. Whatever we receive in donations is divided: 70% for the local Special Olympics, and 30% for the state event. I have personally presented our check to the people who run the local event, and it is accurate to the penny.

Tootsie Rolls are used in order to raise money for the Special Olympics. Over the decades, we have raised and donated millions of dollars to Special Olympics throughout the USA and around the world.
