Went to see Love & Rockets open for Siouxsie and the Banshees at the Arlington Theater (Santa Barbara) in1986. At 16, that was an impressive concert, loved every minute.
The LP "Seventh Dream of Teenage Heaven" came into my hands the previous year. Having followed Bauhaus and especially Tones on Tail music, the names of the band members told me "buy this and listen."
If there was ever an album that deeply influence me, definitely this one. Dedicated to my friend Jeanne Marie Barker 1970-87.

this song gave me the courage to break up my bad relationship. i made two survival compilation cds one titled "this is for when you feel nothing" and "this is for when you feel something". music like this has saved my life.
