@CrissyPoet Sorry to burst your America: home of the free, land of the brave BS but studies show that a majority of people join the military for financial reasons. In other words, in America our class gaps are so large & unequal those whom even dream of getting out of poverty must the financial stability offered by the military. That's why they target poor demographics. Have you ever seen a recruiter's station in a rich neighborhood? The rich get richer & the poor join the US military.

@normanowns0613 Are you kidding me? Have you seen the pay scale for the military. They start out at less than 1500 a month. fast food pays more than that.
-
Their motto is Like Soulja Boys "Crank Dat" Just the words are different.
-
I bet that ruined their class A.

@normanowns0613 What studies? How come you detractors never backup what you're saying with real evidence? Does it matter If they go in for money? I've met plenty of college grads and people who left behind decent work to join up as well. Is it so unusual that many "poor" people join? Considering the GI Bill, Tuition Asistance, college credit, free fringe benefits, and job training that recruits receive, the military does more to help the poor than you're willing to admit.

hmmm i guess you keep your feet together when you go to parade rest at FT Jackson

@normanowns0613 Oh and lastly I would love to get through my military carrer without getting a single injury. So your wrong at every point.
-
@normanowns0613 Actually no I'm joining the national guard as an enlisted man as a black-hawk mechanic. My dad didnt force me to join in. I wanted to join so I can help out with hurricane relief, I live in Florida. I don't want to go overseas but if I have to I will do my duty. Not to mention all the great benefits. So to answer your questions my dads a great guy, very forgiving and a little strict. Im not joining the USMC. Im joining because I want to. I'm completely sane and want I want to.

@ryancicocki Oh cut the BS & level w me. People who exercise the whole "I wanna spill my blood for my country" excuse are lunatics who wanna take out their childhood anger by shooting little brown kids.
& its obvious you hold your dad in high regard. Marine corps? let me guess...he was incredibly strict, cold, & unforgiving? & now youre joining (the marine corps i bet) to finally make dear ol'papa proud? So why ru joining really?...are you nuts, or is it daddy issues? Both perhaps?

@normanowns0613 Not true at all I come from an upper-class family and I'm enlisting. I believe I owe a bit of my life to my country for giving me a such a comfortable life. Also my dad was dirt poor through High School, he got a ROTC scholarship became an officer flew harriers for the Marine Corps. After his time was up he became a successful airline pilot and my family has lived very comfortable ever since. Your probably just to lazy to get out and make something of yourself.

Did anyone else notice the girl who messed up on her push ups at 0:55 ?
So, in the army, are you allowed to do physical activity in dress uniform?
